Default FI cam swap??

i have a t-rex cam in my car now and bought a turbo kit and been told not to even put the turbo kit in until i get a new cam. what is the reason i need a new cam and why is it such a big deal???

Most people will say that due to overlap. What is the lsa of your cam

yeah your cam will have alot of overlap. typically for forced induction people dont go below 114lsa. I ran a torquer 2 on a 112 for a while. You can run it it just wont be the ideal cam for a turbo, and change it later, or you might be alright with the way it is.
