Default EXHAUST WRAP and Tune

Should I need to tune the new "velocity/spool" generated after I wrap the exhaust? or am I good to wrap it and stay in vacuum until we get tuning complete? or does it even need tuned after the wrap?

the only thing you will get by wrapping the exhaust would be some sooner RPM into boost, which if you are set to come into fuel when it comes into boost (MAP based) then you will be fine. Just watch your AFR to be safe

As ZL1Killa said, the main benefit of retaining the heat energy is a faster spool. If your tune is correct now, it will remain so. It'll just spin up the turbo faster.

Come on now, that's like asking if you need a tune if you paint your manifold....

IMO, if you are spooling the turbo quicker/faster then you will be making boost sooner as well, so your particular fuel cell you had tuned before will move down in the RPM range. Depending how much of a difference the wrap has made in your spooling time. Keep an eye on your AFR and this will tell you what you need to do.

ALSO depends on what KIND of TUNE IS IN THE CAR. whether SD OL or CL or how they have it activating.

the good thing to do is just CHECK YOUR AFR and SEE.
