Default Quick Question

Just a quick question for the guys that have done the 8-Rib Conversion. Do you utilize your current 6 Rib J Bracket and Tensioner? Pretty sure my tensioner is the same as a 8 rib one.

Basically, the kit comes with:

New Stand Offs
Blower Pulley
Crank Pulley
Belt
All necessary hardware

Is that correct? I am referring only to the conversion. I know I have to get the balancer, pinning kit, etc.

Thanks!!

I know the j-bracket is the same,I cant remember what Bob said about the 8-rib kit that he sells,I decided to go with the SDCE 8-rib setup so the tensioner is different.

Thanks Speedcrazy.

Anyone got any input on the the Procharger conversion? I think EPP's does come with a new bracket, but not for sure.

if you havent bought it yet I strongly suggest you get the SDCE tensioner. a lot of us still had many issues with the 8 rib setup. you wont be dissapointed if you do
