Question Shops around Chicago IL??

Just wondering if anyone has any good reputable shops around Chicago, IL that would work on a 2002 Trans Am, looking to maybe put a Procharger or Vortech Supercharger on her.

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks.

I am trying to give you good advice here. You "heard" he is good with FI on anything, but what good does that do when he can't use HP tuners. IF you go to him with a stock PCM car he will tell you to go with a BS3 setup..

A couple grand for a tune at Speed Inc? Not when I was there. And you said you wanted a shop with a good reputation? Not much better than Speed. I don't think they'd have such a good reputation if they sent cars out without somewhat of a conservative tune and then everyones cars were blowing up or running like crap. I can tell you that another sponser on the board tuned my car before and it wouldn't even idle by itself, now it runs perfect in every aspect.....idle, full throttle, afr are all in check.

Just my$.02

I dont buy the "conservative" remark. If you want ure car to run *****-to-the-wall then tell um NOT to do a conservative tune...done. Or say "i want a conservative tune" and tell do it. Its all in what kinda tune you want and im sure they have no problem tuning it to whatever. Speed Inc. is gonna be tuning my car and i want it to be "set on kill".... $0.02
