Default ported ls2 intake and boost?

so i'm looking into either getting my ls2 intake ported or buying a ported piece and was wondering how a ported intake holds up to boost. i ask because the holes on the bottom where the posts get removed have to be patched over and i wonder what the structural integrity of these patches is.

It works out fine. I've been running a cleaned (flash removed transitions smoothed) up LS2 intake for four years. We've run it up to 19psi and never had a problem with it.

what was used to fill those holes? I am just wondering what is keeping it from leaking or blowing apart.
