I think you will love the 88 personally. I dont see why everyone wants instaboost on the street?? Build a solid motor with an appropriate cam, have a proper stall and a turbo that spools later will be much more useful on the street. You will get out of the hole straight and pour it on up top where you want it. Hell I just bought a GT 4788 for my 364ci LS2. Its a big SOB for an 88mm turbo let me tell you. But it will give me exactly what I am talking about, big power up top. Too bad you cant find E-85.

91 is all we can find here... there is one station in the area but it is a 40 mile drive one way so its not worth the drive at all..

see thats what i was thinking.. thats why i was thinking of the about 9.5 compression and that lunati cam would make make good power down lower before your in boost..

keep it comin guys...

Since you have stalled auto then go 80 - 85mm T4 on the street the car will be fine but at the track you need 2step or transbrake.

Also from what I understand the cam choice and turbo size will help a lot.

88 is a little big for 347ci I remember ProStockJohn had it in his old Formula the car was a beast but samn laggy even with stalled auto .

throw some spray at it to get her moving out the hole if you really need it. Would make for some good highway runs with the 88

9.5:1 370 with pt88, first gear boost starts coming at 4 grand, second gear it starts at 3500 rpm. Have th400 with 3200 stall.

The hotside still needs rewrapped, An the manifolds, turbo are bare. If coated everything it would come on a few hundred rpm sooner.

Back from the dead for sure... I found a killer deal on a tc76 so I picked it up. It will make good power and be fun.. I do plan on goin to better heads and better turbo one day. But I just want the car running again.
