364ci forged turbo engine: TFS 225's or 235's?
I have an LS2 block, stock crank, K1 rods and Diamond coated pistons with doweled main caps. Narrowed the head choice to either TFS 225's or 235's. Street/drag/1 mile top speed shootout car.
Will be running an LS6 intake to start out with. Turbo is a Comp Turbo CT81 triple BB T4 1.15 A/R unit rated at 1150hp. I plan to keep it around 900rwhpish. e85 fuel.
Any input on why I should run 225's vs. 235's? I plan to limit RPM to around 7200.
Should I port match the port exit of the LS6 intake manifold to the TFS runners?
Thanks in advance. Going in a gutted '93 RX-7 with 2650lb target weight.

Mark K. was making 1290whp on a 364cid with TFS225 it ran 8.0 e.t so id go with the 225 for a small CI engine. oh by the way i have his old long block now and im driving it on the street. i did have a M6 but now going to a 4L80. the 225s still pull very hard up top and drive around town well.
just my feedback
what trans are you going with

I was thinking the 225's flow plenty and I know will support 1000rwhp with ease. Any other cases for going with a 235?
I have a GForce built T56 with billet gears and Viper output shaft and McCleod twin disc for now. If that doesn't survive I will put a glide in it with a GV overdrive unit.
I don't want ultimate et. Just something that will run 9's and pull like crazy up top.

I know people hate the well I know someone who...... but that is all the info i have to offer.
Alot of what I hear on here about the aftermarket heads is that the heads over 225 will struggle with a small motor. I'm sure they will all work from 195-245's but its all about optimization. And as I said alot of what I see is the 225s on stock size engines and the bigger units on the 400+ Ci engines!

Well AFR now has a new redesigned V2 230cc cathedral port head that looks pretty good. The only other company that I have dealt with in the LSx world in the last 5 yrs that has customer service on par with AFR is FTI (Transmissions and converters). Both are outstanding support for outstanding products.
