The LSX series heads feature many significant improvements over GM factory production cylinder heads making them the first choice for new LSX engine builds and power upgrades for your current LS engine family. The new 6-bolt LSX-LS7 cylinder head was developed specifically to meet the needs of racers, professional machine shops, and performance enthusiasts that require added strength, larger valve springs, and more opportunities for performance modifications that could not be performed on a stock LS7 cylinder head. The LSX-LS7 as-cast ports are modeled from the production CNC ports to provide out-of-the-box performance. So step up to the NEW Performance in LS7 cylinder heads --- the LSX-LS7 from Scoggin Dickey Parts Center!!

Those are some amazing prices on them already assembled....

I remember the 2.20" titanium valves in my LS7 heads costing over $1K by themselves!

I have a set of the lsx ls7 heads that I am putting on my ls7 build (427) I am porting mine, mostly cleanup and smoothing. I have had them flowed and I picked up some real good velocity at low lifts on up...especially on the exhaust. I got them because of the value of the great valves(I run sustained high rpms so light valves are good) and the wide spring pocket so I can go solid roller later on. I had them flowed by a famous racehead porter who mostly does drag race heads and he was really impressed with the flow numbers and the design of the ports. He estimated I would gain 30 hp over the as cast original ports. I wanted to get the flow without enlarging the ports and that was the result.

Yeah the heads look like a great option. I wonder how well made the Ti valves are in the LS7 and LS9 versions.
