i just got a boosted car and pulled the ls1 intake off to put a ls6 on. when i pulled it off the owner befor put grey rtv all over the ports? do i need to do the same for the ls6? or will the new port gasket set on the ls6 keep it from leaking bost just fine? also found grey rtv on all of the injectors? is all this rtv unesesary? thanks guys. im only running 7 psi.

The only where to use rtv is the oil pans. None is needed on the intake at all. I would be worried though if the rtv did anything to the injectors???

i am worried. they look ok at the bottom were the fuel comes out off?
