Default Last engine before turbo LQ4. Pics

This is my Nissan 300zx. VG30ET 3.0 liter engine. This is the last time I am putting this engine into my car. After this, it is getting an LQ4 that I am going to build and do custom maniofolds for.

I made the headers/manifolds, Intake (not done), Dry sump mounts, etc. Lots of custom stuff.

Anyways, just showing off I guess. Let me know what you think. I'm looking forward to doing some sick stuff with the LQ4 once this thing blows up.

Is that a modified Pathy intake? I kinda miss my Z31's. What kind of numbers are you making with the vg30et? Do you still have a R200 or is it upgraded to a r230 or something custom?

Yep, modified pathy intake. That is for a customer though. I don't know if I want to go that route, or make a sheet metal one that just sits on top of the lower intake manifold like I normally do.

I am still running the R200. It has been modified to have six clutches inside with 75 lb ft of break away torque. I had Mark Williams make me some custom 4340 chromoly axle stubs though. I also sleeved my half shafts with 4130 chromoly pipe as well. The next thing to break is either going to be the input shafts into the diff, or the diff it's self.

I am making about 600whp out of it on 22psi. Plan is to bump it up to 30psi to get around 800whp to run low 9's. Blow it up, then build the LQ4 and drop it in and boost it.

I got rid of my last Z31 in favor of a 3rd gen camaro, I put a LQ4 in it along with some boost, now I need to finish my fuel system.
