I remember reading a thread a guy posted on here a while back about breaking his lsx454 with low miles on it. A lot of people were saying that the cylinder walls end up being to thin on a lsx454 for reliable FI. I don't remember if it was turbo or s/c. Sorry, I don't remember his name or the thread title. obversely they aren't very common yet
yes i did see that post a long time ago
the engine builders Ive spoke to over there
said they would not recommend FI on them ether
lsx or other wise due to head gasket sealing problems etc
but there is a shop over putting a 3.5 whipple on one at the moment
and another lsx 445 getting done
at another shop so i figured there were more a round

First off: TYPE IN SENTENCES. A 454ci LSX for boost is completely fine as long as you use the Tall Deck block. The 454 std deck lsx is only good for N/A apps as it's bored and stroked to the max for that block.
