Question 1/2" heads studs question?

What part number of 1/2" heads studs is the one that need for a 05 6.0L iron block?
How hard is to retap the treat on the block?
Thanks

Not worth the effort and expense IMO.

I think ls9gaskets and 1/2" studs are a much better option than 6bolt setup. But I would personally just use the regular studs and ls9gaskets. And with an aftermarket casting head, they won't push water

After talking to Kurt Urban and Brian at LME I think they have their place. It's all relative. Myself I went with 1/2" head studs to compliment the etp thick deck heads on my build.

You really need to have a machine shop drill and tap them, not a project you want to do by hand. AES drilled and taped my block when they did the machine work.
