Even though the black rims are "played out". the black looks better on your car. Really ties in the black roof...

Great work!

Polished all the way on the wheels! Nice build, ready to see what it does at the track.

Well the car is back on the ground, and it runs. Had a few issues at first but think we have most of them sorted out. Still a little nervous as I haven't tried to put it in gear yet to make sure the trans works at all. Will do that tonight and hopefully have a video up later.

The guy that did the conversion/wiring on that harness is confident in it

Sorry I missed this post. I have all stock fuel lines and regulator for now. Will eventually upgrade to an adjustable regulator for more power but may need a better turbo for that.

I am just waiting on HPTuners to send me a 4L80E segment swap. Apparently in the new beta version you can tune the 80E to not unlock the converter when letting off the throttle. I know this was a huge deal for some people and I was going to use Slow67's method of using a 60E file. I will see how it all turns out once I get the segment swap back and loaded. I hope that the trans has no issues for now. It was supposedly out of a 80k mile truck. Then it will be figuring out how to get it to the tuner.

My buddy posted the video above. The downpipe is dumped right by the starter. Need to get it back a little further and put a turndown on it. It's fairly loud.

Thank you. Got my segment swap done. Hopefully will be able to drive it around a bit in the next couple of days.

Figured I would upgrade the thread. I have put about 200 miles on the car doing a few blasts here and there. Only hit a max of 65% throttle, around 4300 rpm, and got to 10 lbs once which was an accident. It has a 13 lb spring in it (came with the gate) which makes it hard to keep the boost down. I have a 6 lb spring on the way. The tune will hopefully be ironed out in the next couple of weeks. Just in time to put the car away for the winter.

The on3 turbo seems to working well, as does the $200 4L80E (knock on wood). Exhaust dumps right at the k-member which is pretty annoying but should have a bullet with a turndown on it soon.

I plan on getting some completed pics and a video or two up in the next few days as well.

Well the car was getting hot with the shitty ebay fans I had. Also tried my buddies 16" 3600 cfm zirgo fan and helped but not enough. My buddy cut the radiator support back more tonight and shoehorned the stock fans in. Took it for a drive and stayed a lot cooler. Usually after a drive it would heat up to 220+ idling in the garage, whereas tonight it never went above 200 and the temp actually dropped idling. Stock fans seem to be the key for me.

Attempted to brake boost a bit tonight and it worked out well. Still only going about 60-70% throttle. I also foot braked it from a stop and built over 6lbs before the breaks lets go.

Here are some crappy cell pics I took tonight of how everything sits.

How the bumper is cut for now.

Some vacuum block and catch can pics to show the location.

And a shot at the gas station.

Hoping to get some videos up soon. Questions, comments, or concerns are welcome!

Looks great! Why did you mount the catch cans under the head light vs in the engine bay?

Couldn't find a good place to mount them in the engine bay. With the alt relocation, and a dual can setup, there wasn't a lot of options. Also, it gets some extra stuff out of the bay. Since my car is a 1SC I don't have fog lights so I can reach in the fog light hole and empty the cans there. Pretty nice actually.

So, the other night when I tried foot braking, there was pretty decent sized clunk that came from under the car. My buddy thought it was the brakes letting go but on further inspection today he found that I snapped the rear u-joint. It was a cheap u-joint though. I'm lucky the car actually drove fine and made it back home, ha. We replaced that tonight and drove the car around for a bit to check the cooling system again. All seems well. Just need to find some time to get it tuned so I can enjoy it for a month or so before the white stuff starts flying.

Will have some drive-by and in car videos this weekend.

Short video. Didn't get on it much. This was more to see how it sounded on a drive by.
