Default Valve Shrouding with boost

i have an ls2 with ls3 heads and planning on boosting it... 219/230 .605 .604 117 camshaft. heads are ported, ported ls2 tb, ported intake manifold. its around 10.3 static compression ratio... going to run a tc78 with upgraded billet wheel, and looking for a 1.15 ar housing on it. will be running a pacesetter 1 3/4 primaries and a 3 inch exhaust... its on a ctsv... and yes the turbo will be custom under the hood set up. how bad is the valve shrouding under boost... im hoping that the turbo will push "past" the shrouding. im thinking of doing a forged ls3 in its place... not sure how bad the shrouding is with boost... what are your thoughts. i want the motor set up as effiently as possible

Make it as efficient as possible as if it were naturally aspirated and that's as good as it's going to get on boost.

If you want it to be an efficient setup I would ditch that TC78 for something with less, ah, turbine shrouding

currently it has a .96 ar housing... i know the 6.0 will make the power i want, but i was thinking of going to a ls2 427 for fun... basically i want to resleeve the block, and the bore is 4.125 for the darton sleeves... so the turbo size may get changed in the future... thinking of going 91mm later on down the road. looking to make 600rwhp -650 on the factory bottom end

The exhaust a/r isn't the problem, it's the little turbine wheel. Definitely can't run 427ci and a single TC78, it will have a ton of backpressure even with a 6.0.
