Default VNT turbos?

Anybody messed around with VNT Turbos? Like a Garrett GT3782VA? (Powerstroke Diesel 6.0)

Curious... Reading about making 14psi @ 2000 rpms and as high as 28psi @ 3K+

Thoughts/Opinions?

Jay

Too small of a turbo for ls engines. They make a **** ton of back pressure, and were designed with lower rpms /pressure ratios

With how cheap budget turbos have gotten, it isn't worth cobbling together a setup based from an OEM turbo IMO. It will be in all ways less than ideal. Also keep in mind a turbo like that wasn't designed for a performance application.

Not to mention the controller/computer you'd need to control the turbine vanes!
