Plus I just like to give Kyle a hard time. I'm one of the guys that was telling him to use a th400.....and a different boost controller.

I was just curious. I've only ever ran three speeds with turbos and was thinking about putting a glide in my mustang.

Im always getting kicked in the ***** from this guy^^^haha. I still cut a high 1.3 this season, and i think with the right amount of boost and enough track passes she will get faster. I am DEFINITELY taking your advise on that boost controller though dude!!!

I paint for a living and use all sherwin williams ****. I did prime who bay and sand it all down to get all the deep scratchs/grinding marks out. But if you want some advise for doing it I would say dont go to crazy on it, it is a engine bay and it will get scratched and messed up if you work on your car as much as i do.

The produces i used:

adhesion promotor-Bulldog
sealer-p30b
paint-mixing bank deep black
clear-FC720 acme clear<---badass ****!

Thumbs up

Looking really good. Excited to see how it does this year. I'm also doing a non-intercooled 403 but on Methanol instead of E85. Your builds are very encouraging.

I appreciate that dude. I know the build thread is dead slow right now, but the cage **** is something ive been putting off for to long, and just want it over with. Once its done there will be posted every week with pics of the progress.

Your car looks mean as ****. Its a pain in the *** when you have to get something out of the way like a cage but its bettter for your safety anyhow and the frame of the car will prolly appreciate it. LOL.

Intake leak on boost means less power and richer fuel mix, sooo...the flow lost would be almost meaningless.

The excess fuel being dumped into that cylinder would wash down the walls and cause the rings to pinch and then being under full boost there is probably quite a bit of timing being pulled that would cause that cylinder to run hotter.

That cam is going to be night and day difference from your old one! Takes a big stick to turn a big ol' turbo like that one you got!

In all reality the cam really isn't that big for a 408, but it's going to have an idle that will make guys think twice!
