Default Best spot for the O2 sensors in my crossover?

Would it be best to put the O2 sensors in the header colector? or closer to the merge? Heres a picture of my crossover.

Thanks,
Miles

Our tuner by us uses the o2's in the crossover just for tuning pourposes then after done tuning pull them out and plug. Doesn't help with placement for the OP but I'm in for opinions as well since I need to weld mine in also.

Well as LS1 Nova mentioned, they need to be in/near the collectors with a single turbo. If they are both in the downpipe after a single they will be useless anyway as your fuel trims will be all over the place, most of the time driving one side full positive and the other full negative (but the pcm never see's what it's looking for as each o2 is reading both banks).

With a twin setup, an o2 in each downpipe is the way to go.
