I just got me a jy 5.3 150k miles and a 6 month warranty for $300. Doing a budget build of course. I have a set of stock 99 ls1 heads with springs already on them. Could I just use them or put the springs on my jy 862 heads that came on my 5.3? Thanks in advance.

stock 5.3 heads are 862, ls1 head is 853 castings. Little help?

for boost most go with 317's. but depending on power your looking for you can probably just leave it alone.

317's are 210cc intake runner. 5.3 heads are 200cc I think.
