Thanks!!

Everything is going smooth so far! Except for the $$$$$$ needed to do it lol

I originally came from doing head/cam builds, so this build has been a rude awakening!

Default Small Update!

[CENTER]I haven't gotten much done lately just minor things that have set me back!!

I picked up HP tuners pro!!!

I got the brake rotors and wheels drilled for the new 5/8'' moser wheel studs... took me a good 4 hours with a crummy Ryobi hand drill, worked perfect tho!

My zr1 rims would not fit the aluminum spacer so I had to use these stock 16'' rims because they had enough surface area for the spacer

got the moser 9'' all filled up with fluids, found a good way to zip tie the bottle and let gravity help me out lol

Default minor update!

Got the whole front clip almost together I'm getting excited since I haven't driven my car in almost 2 years this november

Also got 2 1/8 npt bungs welded into my 4l80e trans pan for a temp gauge and a drain plug..

Also got a 1/8 bung welded into my griffen radiator for the coolant crossover hose

next will be to mount the engine to the front assembly, install torque converter to tranny and then connect tranny to engine.. should be a productive week this week

sorry didn't catch this, its a multi disc billet lockup 4l80 converter.. heres the link to it although it doesn't explain it that well

http://www.ptcrace.com/race-billet-f...er-p-1318.html

it was spec'd by dusty and when it arrived he didn't have the stall listed, it just had his serial # on it.. Id have to ask him what stall it is, I never asked since it was spec'd for 1/4 mile with all of my mods that I listed for him...

got a little more done today!!!

hopefully I can get it installed into the car in the next couple days..

Default small update!!

I took 2 steps forward, 1 step back...

I was going over my engine spec sheet and didn't realize my pistons came out of the hole .020 to give me a quench of .031 using ls9 head gaskets...

so im gonna rip the heads off this week and fix that.

after talking to a few people I've decided to use cometic .060's and thatll bring my quench up to .040 which sounds better, I also got my gauges ran (autometer z series) for a stockish look..

Also Im wrapping up my triple walbro setup and added a -8 bulkhead to my sending unit...
