Interesting F1 pics of new Turbocharged engines

Wish they weren't limiting fuel so much on the turbo cars, but it will be cool to see how the different teams are able to take advantage of the waste heat energy of the turbo/ERS systems.

What's soo strange about either? The it's quite common to have dual feeds into and exhaust housing for industrial stuff. Dosent the duramax have a twin entry exhaust housing (might be wrong)? The deisel Audi r18 race cars v6 has a single turbo with twin inlets.
I guess people aren't used to seeing them in aftermarket scene.
As for the intercooler, well the whole thing is pure artwork! Bet it will have increadabily even flow over the whole core with next to no presure drop! Although I think they have the tubes going the wrong way on that rendering !

Other intresting things are:
*No waste gates! Must be using VNT / VGT on the turbo!
*Carbon fiber heat sheilds! Imagine those on a road car!
*Inlet to the turbo! Someone needs to offer these for the procharge guys!
