seriously consider a sintered iron 'soft loc' style adjustable clutch. The adjustability and tuneabilty is a HUGE benefit

it will not get a soft loc unless monster starts to make one. i have been 1.2x on their regular ceramic twin.

I have a 347, stock crank, stock iron block, making 1000 to the wheels. I have ran 5.4 @ 131 mph in the 1/8 at 3280 lbs. and that was. Only with a 1.40 60 ft. That pass should be good for an 8.4x in the 1/4. I have upgraded some of the suspension and have gone air to water so it so go 5.2x's all day.
