Default BOV & Wastegate sizing.

Looking for input on Wastegate and BOV size for my build. I know it's not a supported platform, but there's a wealth of experienced members here.

It's a 3.8 V6, will have a Garrett T67 mounted on forward flowing headers and an electronic boost controller. I'm running a T-56 trans as well. I'm not quite sure how high I'll push the turbo, only looking to do around 600whp so as not to stress the block/trans too much.

I've seen some articles say a ~50mm BOV and a 40-44mm WG is sufficient, but wanted to get second opinions.

A lot of it depends on how well the wastegate is positioned in the hot pipes...a good placement may only need a 40mm gate, a bad placement may need a 60mm or 2 50s.

A single 38mm wastegate and 50mm BOV will do just fine on your combo, with your 600 rwhp goal.
