Default Please help me decide ....lq4 s475 or s480 street car

Excuse me if I dont make sense but im new on the forced induction scene. I'm in the middle of building a 79 Malibu and cant decided to go with the s475 or s480. The car will see alot of track time and I can't decide. My mind is saying s480 because I think it would leave me room to grow but I've seen s475 perform just as well. I will be running stock bottom end , custom grind cam, ls6 intake, th400 trans with transbrake and most likely a 2 step. Which one do you guys think I should pull the trigger on and which turbine wheel and a/r housing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I recommend the Billet S476. Will make plenty of power to push that kind of car into the 8's if set up properly on E85! Have a buddy (Stock48) running one in the low/mid 8's at 160Mph+ off the footbrake and drives to and from the track.

That's what I needed to hear .I did forget to mention I also plan to run e85 with 80lb injectors if they can hold up to the task.

With E85 at big power levels, you'll need more injector for sure. What are your realistic goals?

Man with the stock block I would say 600-650. I just something I can grow into without having to but a new unit. There's no telling how long the stock block is going to last so I want something I could use if I decided to do a built block on the side.
