Default Wide band

Ok guys I have searched and can't find the answer. I have a single turbo with the waste gate dumping into the down pipe. I have read numerous threads where is says to put the Wide band sensor 12-18 inches from the turbo but my auto meter gauge says 4-6 inches. Also should I put it before the gate dumps into the DP or after? Thank you

The sensors do not tolerate excess heat, so 12"+ is better.

As for the w/g dump. As long as there are no leaks, it doesnt really matter.

Just like stevie said, not too close to the turbo. Heat eats them up fast. It's good that your WG is back into the DP. So you are gtg just mount it at least 12" after the turbo.

You got a nice setup, I would put the wideband right after the wg dumps back in to keep it clean and help hide the harness easier.

Thank you. Yea I wasn't expecting the harness to be as big as it is.
