blowing ignition fuse during hot start
Single turbo LS1, everything was fine until added the turbo. I have a feeling its from heat soak but not too sure. car starts up fine under normal conditions, after driving a good distance in normal driving conditions and I stop somewhere and get in to restart in a short time, it blows the fuse. change it out, blows the fuse. Once it cools down its fine.
Is this a heat problem? Any one else have this problem? Should I wrap the starter in heat wrap? My turbo is on that side, in the near area, and the tubing is pretty close to the starter.

Thats what I have been thinking, just havnt tried anything yet. I need to wrap it and try a heat shield or something. I also notice the volts start dropping a little the hotter it is or the more stop and go driving I do. Freeway driving when there is good air flow through the bay the volts hold strong.
