Default charge pipe exhaust wrap...

Im doing a mid mount GT45 on my S10 and right noe im in the final stages of running the charge pipe. The pupe comes in close proximity to the header (thinking about going with wrapped vband F-body manifolds) would it be a good idea to heat wrap the charge pipe in this area? Im not running an intercooler, im running methanol to combat IAT.

personally, I'd wrap the exhaust pipes that are close, and put a sheet metal heat sheild in between the hot and cold tubes. I would NOT wrap steel cold pipes, they will hold heat.
BTW, I love the mid mount turbo in an S10

Thanks man. Yeah i ran the cold pipe on the outside of the frame. Its all aluminized steel. I still have to wrap the entire exhaust
