Dude, where's the "sloppy" on this one?!?!?! Lol

I love how the truck intake fits under the hood with the tubular K member. Does it fit in a fox body mustang too?

If you fabbed up some "bump steer correcting spacers" for where the tie rod connects to the knuckle, could you drop the steering rack and not have to notch the pan?

After all of the previous builds...I'm curious as to how much faster you're planning to go. All of these shiny parts are definitely nice though. Mark's car must have you motivated.

Bumpsteer.. Rack? Looks like he is cutting the pan because he is going to smash it after it hikes the wheels for 100ft or so.

We need to just start the fund for the 25.5 chassis now.

Didn't you say someone built that hotside? Is it a kit, or was it built to your specs? I looked again in the thread, but couldn't find it. I love how well it fits off stock manifolds, and the turbo placement.

my friend built it, i did pay him, he built the other really nice kit for my other build. whenever i want something like that done nice i just ask him.

i told him where i wanted the turbo and we went back and forth on a few things and decide on what it is, i just told him i wanted driver side and orientation and he took care of the rest, pretty incredible since he doesnt have anything with this k member and didnt know exactly where anything would be.

this is the other kit he built me

i can answer both of these questions together.

i guess the point is to see if a more race oriented car is worth the squeeze
im going light, and using nearly the same setup china turbo and stock 5.3.

yes nearly any aftermarket K lets you fit the truck intake, since it puts the motor so far down and back.

costs a little more for the k member but whats nice is you dont have to break the bank getting the car intake bare, rails, lines, regulator, intake gaskets etc. its almost a push, i figured while i was at it, **** it, tube A arms, coil overs, and the works.

From what I've seen, the truck intakes make more power than the LS1 intakes, so if it's a push cost wise, it's a win overall.

Can't wait to see how this one turns out.
