Well ****. Took it to the guy and he said it's gonna leak. Said it's falling apart inside and that it would cost $500 to remake it. Said **** all that noise. So I'm going to probably pick up a radiator on ebay. ****!!!! More money I didn't want to spend. This is the one I'm looking at. It's for a early mustang.

But thanks for the suggestion. I need a radiator that is no wider then 25" and no taller then 25", and that would be the widest and tallest I could go with tanks. I would also like the in and out of the radiator to be on the passenger side.

As much as I hate hood pins, I'm going to have to get rid of the factory hood latch and run hood pins. There just isn't enough room for the intercooler and factory hood latch. when it's all said and done and I put my fans on there will be next to no room between the charge pipes the accessories and the radiator. I'll have a better scope tonight once the intercooler is mounted up.

So here is the intercooler bolted in. I pushed it as far forward as I could before hitting the grill. I was able to gain about a extra 3/4" over what I thought I was going to.
So in the picture you can see the bolts that hold the intercooler on are a little long. I got some that are even longer and I'm going to drill holes in the radiator flange and mount the radiator on the same bolts. That way I don't have to make any crazy brackets that hold the rad in place.

Lookin good man! Are you just gonna cut a bigger hole for the 90 degree elbow? And is there a reason you didnt put the I/C outlets on the bottom? Sometimes that helps simplify things for people

Yeah ill trim the opening bigger for elbows off the intercooler.
As far as putting them down low, the main reason is because my frame rails are 28" apart. My intercooler from outlet to outlet is also 28" so it would have been real tight down lower. And then I have the whole 3" charge pipe in the way of my water outlet on my radiator. This way I'll be able to come out of the throttle body and 90° down at a 45° angle and miss all that. It will defiantly be tight. But it should work out good. Think I'm gonna have to get creative with my tranny cooler but I have a good idea and it's gonna be slick. And no, I'm not mounting it out back........ should be cool though.

Well....
Intercooler Installed for final fit
baller shims (washers stacked and then wrapped in electrical tape to hold them together)
Extra long bolts to mount my radiator on
radiator mounted, don't worry. I'm gonna build a shroud that goes around the sides of my radiator to the radiator support so little to no air can blow past the sides. That way any of the air coming is has to be forced though my radiator. Kinda hard to put into words but everyone will see what I'm talking about.
Upper coolant hose............ Custom..lol I used some 1.5" .120 wall tubing.
now I just need to wait for the rest of my silicone couplers to show up and I can cut the rest of the radiator support out for my charge pipes.

Looks good! If your in a bind on the thermo outlet you can just rotate the thermo flange you have and grind a couple flats on it. Then use washer to hold it in place. Doesn't look great, but its free. Mine has been this way for years.... never leaked a drop. Can't see it in the pic but the housing is notched where the bolt slides in so it can't rotate.
