Do you have a buildthread started yet? This looks like it's going to be a whole lot of fun!

@SW....95 240sx, LM7 (05), LS6 intake, Tick Level 3, Q45 (3.54) diff swap, Fortune Auto custom coil overs . Due to out of state relocation it will stay NA for a bit using Sikky headers and LS6 clutch.

For the turbo parts I have waiting: On3 7876, Deka 80 lbs., Monster 11" Ceramic Clutch.

If you have the $ get a T56 magnum. It not only shifts waaaay better... It is stronger than any rebuilt older T56 even with Viper output shaft (on back order I believe) upgrade.

If an extra $2k is going to kill the budget just run your stock T56 and rebuild it if it breaks. As long as you don't launch on sticky tires with boost it should last. We pushed 700-950rwhp+ thru a stock T56 for thousands of hard miles with basic upgrades (steel 3/4 shift fork, bronze pads, billet keys) and no issues.... But never launched it hard. 3000lbs and went 9.20@162mph. We run 3.31/3.27 gears and they work well.

You could accomplish your goals with a single turbo. Make your radiator overkill and use a Taurus (4000cfm) or similar fan if you plan to really keep it cool.

Na, you definitely dont want to use that cam. That is a HUGE cam for a 4.8 and would not work well at all with your application, being turbo specific. You could probably sell it pretty quickly though in the classifieds and order a custom one from a vendor. The cost difference shoudnt e much

Thanks Jay!

Yes we do sell 4.8/5.3 specific turbo cams and I'd be more than happy to help you select the correct camshaft for your application.

Just give me a call at our shop or shoot an email to the address below in my signature. If you decide to send an email, we'll get with you as soon as we can!

Do you also think that the 54-000-11 will not be good with turbo?

I expect to use two 58mm turbos, and 700whp/tq

thanks!

54-000-11 just denotes the part number for a custom billet steel hydraulic roller three bolt LS camshaft.

I'd suggest our stage one camshaft which is 215/219 .612/.585 114+3.

Cool build, to bad there's no way to retain the awd. My wrx will be staying as is though, only need 1project at a time.

Don't think the LS would fit if bolted to the scooby gearbox. Plus the box wouldn't last very long either.

There was someone bolting a ls into an audi a4 I think and they were retaining 4wd (using the stock gearbox). However the audi is designed to mount a v8 (ok a very short one) in front of the box.

Only way to do it in a Subrau would be to run a skyline style gearbox and have the front diff under the engine. Would lift the engine up a bit for the driveshaft. Plus would probably need tunnel mods to allow for the transfer box.
