This is one of the coolest LS swaps I have ever seen. I hate how the subaru engines sound. Good job man!

Thanks David!

I'm tunning now, soon will put 3 stage adjustable boost and I hope to get traction... If dont have we probably will install traction control...

In my idea should use 4psi direct and boosts to 8,7psi / 12psi / 17psi lol

Thanks a lot man! It's a long way to do the car run strong and safety...

Specially now that is RWD... I already put soft springs in my coilovers, and adjust better the alignment.... but still need to do some tests before speeds above 100mph

How is the handling of he car compared to stock? I can't remember if you said but has the v8 swap added much weight?

We are still adjusting the suspension, with springs and shock absorver load, and alignment... but the car have a lot of potential.... after all the money invested I plan to use the car 95% in the streets and 5% at track events... so I plan to let the suspension very good for street use

Interlagos is awesome, would love to get track time there. Was that the full f1 circuit? For some reason it seemed short. Glad to see the car is going well!

If something happened to my Vette and the engine was still good it would go straight into my 15 WRX. Nice build.

Odd question:

What Clutch Master Cylinder did you end up using?

Doing a similar build minus hairdryers (for now)

I did a partnership with Fueltech and now I'm installing a FT500 in the car.

http://www.fueltech.net/ft500-efi-prod-166.html

It's a great Fuel Injection system, with a lot of controls, and easy to install and use...

Now I gonna have in the fuel injection all the infos about the engine, and so a lot more safety strategy... like
-fuel pressure
-oil pressure
-2 widebands (one each side)
-2 EGT sensor (one each side)
-boost controller (each gear and each rpm I could set a boost pressure)
-fuel level indicator

So with this, I could set per example, that if oil pressure drops more than Xpsi with more than Xrpm, I could cut the engine, or just put the engine in a safety rpm set before.

I'm very excited with the results that will come. As soon as I have it done and tune I will do some videos and post here.

Could the MS you used not already do all that ?

FiTech are more locally based to you though ?

Hi Stevie,

MS could do, but I have to put more hardware in my MS3 to get what I want, and I have 0 support here in Brasil. A friend of mine that is good with electronic stuff, but he have a lot of things to do, and could not give me more support, so the best for me was FuelTech, because already have all the features that I want, and I have a great support here in Brazil.
I know they already have a good structure in US ... most cars of Street Outlaws already use FT500....

Other than those who've changed to Haltech....

FiTech got in there quick on that deal, Haltech followed suit. Huge low cost worldwide advertising for both brands

Was quite funny on a recent episode here in the UK where the dung beetle just happened to call over to a friends for a small upgrade to EFI.....no mention that those friends came all the way from Australia to do it LOL.

FiTech does make a lot of sense for you though.

Very impressive motor set-up! The 04-05 body style Imprezas have always been our favorite. Keep those videos coming!
