Well butt dyno feels like it has endless torque off the bottom. Blower is pretty quiet but overall I'm more than pleased with it and know it'll be rock solid reliable. Perfect idle and comes off throttle nice and even. Keep in mind this is the first vehicle I've driven with well over 450hp to the wheels. And the car isn't exactly heavy either. I imagine my combo should be around 600 at the wheels.

Just adding my numbers into the mix....
Stock LQ4 shortblock, stock casting 243 heads, 228R cam (from when was NA), stock LSA pulley, front accessory drive from LSSimple, 5-7 lbs of boost
497 RWHP on 93 octane and 525 RWHP on E85. That's from a mustang dyno and during a Texas summer.

Easy for you say, the actuator bombed out and since I live in South Africa getting a new one takes six weeks+ the bov is what I came up with. I will admit that it was hard on belts. I have since got a second lsa blower and am using the actuator off that, much better.

So I went down the lsa line as it seemed cheaper than a d1sc or better
it wasnt, it was more work and it made the same power or less. Sure the lsa will take nitrous pretty damn good.
Bypass valve is a pain in the ***, cooling system for the lid is annoying and in the end it simply isnt cheaper than just using a stock truck motor and d1sc

I agree it is not cheaper. Unless you doing all the labor yourself. When I priced out the D1SC setup on my G8 with a shop installing as compared to doing the LSA conversion with a shop doing it to support 700whp there was more labor cost on the LSA conversion. Hell I even looked at doing a TVS 1900 setup and there is a lot less labor cost on it.
I personally would want to purchase all new parts. Who wants to find out later something has a problem post paying for the labor. Also, whats the benefit of using the LQ4 other than its cheaper unless you are planning on a nice healthy shot of nitrous. The alum blocks weigh less and can hold quite a bit of power.
