So i picked up an 05 LM7 yesterday with 102k on it, bought from a local race guy that everyone i know has dealt with so i should be ok.

Plans are a Turbo 5.3 T56

However it has 706 heads. My plans were always to go 317 heads so could someone tell me if these are worth anything or if anyone would like to buy them? This forum wont let me post in the classifieds

OK so the block i bought is casting 12567392 which seems to be either 2002 or 2004, did he hustle me on the year or did 2005 use this casting too??

Also picking up a bare LS6 intake tonight and would like some feedback on the holley fuel rails... anyone used them? reviews please!

Check VIN pad on engine - left bank rear of cylinder head. Should see laser dot number with last 9 of VIN. Second digit from left is year.

I couldnt seem to find it last night is it under the head? As in i have to take the head off to see it?

Nope. On the left deck just rear of the head. Basically just below where you have the chain attached to rear of L head. Clean it with a wire brush to reveal the number. Plug in the last 8 digits in a VIN decoder to get the original build details.
