Default lq4 turbo build

Well to start off I have an 02 f-body roller sitting in my back yard thats been yelling at me to do something with it. So thats what im doing. My pops has an 05 Sierra 2500hd with around 70k on it that he messed up over the winter and bent the frame. I talked to him into given it to me for $1000. I think he just had enough of just seeing sit in his drive way taking up space.. lol... the plan is to take that motor and put it in the f-body

This is going to be a street/strip build and weekend fun car. I would like the car to do 10s or 9s in the 1/4. Dont realy have a power goal but hoping for at least 650whp. Before I post what I plan on getting for the build I have one question. What tranny should I go with for this build? I want a 5 or 6 speed. I know everyone one is going to say go with an auto but I want 5 or 6 speed..

And now the list:

huron speed t4 turbo kit

-3" down pipe
- turbo smart hyper-gate 45mm wastegate
-turbo smart race-port 50mm bov

-nasty performance stage 3 fuel line kit
-BMR turbo style k-member
-------------------------------------------------------------
ENGINE
- Speed Inc TU2 Turbo Cam 236/236
- hardened chromoly push rods
- brian tooley dual springs .650" lift
-fast lsx 92mm intake
-fast 92mm tb
-SLP Duble roller timing chain
-SLP oil pump
-Holley HP EFI ECU & HARNESS KIT
- ls9 gaskets
- arp head studs
- arp rod bolts
-------------------------------------------------------------
TRANSMISSION/REAR END
- moser 9" 350 gears. wavetrac 35 spline.
- Tick Performance level 4 tr-6060 2.66 gear

any and all info will be greatly appreciated. And if theres something I shouldnt be looking into or should be looking into or if I should change something let me know

Youll get the normal answers. T56 or TR6060.

Going with a level 4 tr-6060 from tick performance.. have another question. How quickly will the turbo im interested in spool up? And if I should be looking at a bigger turbo let me know. And what is the biggest tire I can go with before tubing?

The turbo will spool fairly quickly, but I would recommend a much different cam with that setup.

Also, 9s are going to be a push with a 6 speed.

9's are tough with any manual car, you have to have some serious skills. If your chasing a time slip just stick with the 4l80 thats in your dads truck. If your dead set on a manual trans either a tr6060 of t56 wil get it done. Good luck!

Got hooked up with casey from huron. Very helpful and great place for a one stop shop. Did not realize how in depth they were. basically everything i need for my build I can get straight through them.

no more searching and trying to remember a 1000 different websites to find everything needed

Ill be adding pics pretty soon. camera on my phone broke waiting for new phone to come in some time next week. And ill be adding and changing things to the parts list as I go.
