A few updates since my last post. I got some photos of it with the sun out for the first time since its been running.

Turns out, I needed a better alternator. I found one that retained the stock size housing but is a 200amp. I also got the big 3 upgrade. I will be installing these on Monday.

My friend dropped the pan on my trans and found a cracked servo piston that we believe was bleeding pressure and why the car wouldn't shift. Hopefully that was the issue and this will also be going in on Monday.

The 200amp alternator and Big 3 wire upgrade solved my charging issues. I also got the new transmission parts installed and the transmission is now shifting! Big relief.

Unfortunately, now I think i need a new brake master cylinder as the brake pedal is ridiculously hard. Oh the joys of having a project car!

Made some decent progress on the Camaro over the past couple months. I've only put about 100 miles on it because I dont have inspection, registration, and I need to get a new drivers side seatbelt. But, the car seems to be running well. I installed a Mighty Mouse catch can and routed some of my PCV lines differently and its not smoking or pushing oil out!

I also had a mid-pipe made by a buddy of mine and I will eventually get a cutout put in. For now, my neighbors cant complain anymore Here are some photos and a video:

The RESULTS ARE IN!

My brother, 99pewterz71, and I trailered the car down to Victoria, TX for PatG to tune. He spent alot of time with us going over the car and really trying to dial it in. We started on WG spring and started working our way up.

It was about 95 degrees out and 60% humidity when we were making pulls. Pat also uses a Mustang dyno but he says its pretty accurate. I was also through Corsa exhaust with no cutout.

On 18psi the car made 747/773 at 5300 rpms! As you can imagine, I was SHOCKED! With all things considered, I was just hoping to break the 600rwhp mark. My injectors were at 95% duty cycle so it was best to dial it back some. We ended on 14.5psi and made 680/701 When it was on the dyno, the converter was locking instantly, but once out on the street it was operating as it should.

The car is an absolute beast when it gets into boost. Video coming soon!

You can hear and see the converter locking instantly:

Glad it finally came together and went smoothly man. Those numbers shocked the hell out of me for the conditions. Can't wait to get it to the track.

Stock 5.3 out of a 99 Silverado with a PatG spec'd cam. Has ARP headstuds, opened the ring gap a little bit, new bearings, and LS9 gaskets with stock 241 heads.

Yes, Turbonetics 7575.
