I scored a free Garrett gr37va from work. It's a core removed from duramax. Would it be worth rebuilding, and getting a second one for a street car? By that i mean a street car that will see some dragstrip time? I'm currently getting a 6.0 LY6 ready. No idea of vehicle yet. Most likely a boring old c10, since they have room for days. The engine was scored for free aswell. I figurred who best to ask than the pros here. Thisnisngoingntonbe my first LSx and first turbo build. If it isn't worth rebuilding for high performance application, I'll just turn it into a turbine jet engine and slap it on a go kart to toy with.
