Help me pick twins for a 403
Hello. I'm more of a lurker than a poster. So I'm doing a "budget" TT build on my 02 z06. I finally got my motor done and now it's time to decide on some turbos. Initially, I was just going to get some eBay on3 70mm's since they're really cheap and then upgrade later if need be. But, I know someone selling a couple of sets of Precision turbos for cheap. So for some extra money, I can get some name brand stuff.
1st set: 2 PT6262, .68ar, ball bearing, billet comp wheel
2nd set: 2 PT6766, .81ar, ball bearing, billet comp wheel.
Specs on my motor:
Lq9 403
Mahle forged piston -12cc (10.6:1cr with 64cc heads)
Eagle H Beam rods w/ ARP 2000 rod bolts
Eagle 4340 4.00" crank
PRC stage 2.5 243's
Holley hi ram
E85
Cam to be spec'd by Martin @ Tick once I decide on turbos.
Goal: 1000whp (typical, I know)
So please help decide. And before someone suggest Borg Warners, I had looked in to the s366's and I think they are physically to large with the amount of room I have to work with. With that being said, I have no idea how big the PTs are but I know the ON3 70's are relatively small. Thanks in advance!
