I plan to cap off the TB and stock VC openings. Going to drill the tops of the VC's and put fittings on them then, just run rubber hose to a vented Mighty Mouse catch can. Simple and relatively cheap

I connected both valve covers with a 3/8 line. Then a single -12 on the pass side to a breather tank. I also have my valley cover port venting to the same breather tank.

I have a MM car on my ls fox and my sr20 240. Great cans!

The mustang gets it pull from a -10 fitting in the down pipe.

I have a -10 line in each valve cover run straight into the exhaust. Works great.

I run a RX Monster can with a 1LE breather. It's been working great. If I were buying new now I would go with a Mighty Mouse setup or something custom like what LMR makes.

I have nothing. I cut the end off an old stocking and zip tie it onto the pass side breather pipe.
Maybe I'm lucky, but I get no
blow by. The drivers side is just open, but was factory restricted to a small orifice on my L33.
I'd have a vented breather tank if I needed one.

I use that VB port as my boost reference.

6 years boosted and have always just ran a breather in place on the oil cap and one at the rear of the driver valve cover. No issues ever

There is a performance benefit to a proper PCV that lowers crankcase pressure during wide open throttle.

There is also an oil quality benefit to running proper PCV. A street car that see 3k miles/oil change needs a PCV system if it wishes to maintain it's oil quality.

random PCV question- would a -8an be too small for dual valve cover to a vented catch can setup?? or go up to -10?

I never thought of a performance gain with proper pcv. That has to be tiny.

I see your point on oil quality. I change mine about every 1500 so dont think its an issue.

Big CID engines with blowers typically use a belt driven vacuum pump for a 2-5% performance boost, which is around 30-50 horsepower on those setups (making the cost/performance reasonable at that level)

for street cars running a pcv off their intake manifolds (or turbochargers) there will not be as much of a vacuum signal, but the benefit is still there to some degree, and is practically free so why not since it comes with so many other benefits like cleaner oil.

I highly recommend the exhaust driven version- if you can verify that it is working by logging the crankcase pressure over time.

I have 2 3/8" hoses mounted straight up by the fuel rails that I can see through the cowl hood. If it starts going south I can see it early.
