Slowly but surely, progress is being made. Motor is back in the car with some used ID 1300s
Broke down and got some proper brakes for the car.
Traded the 8.8 and got a used 9" with 3.50 rear gears which will be narrowed for sweet pea. Also, ordered a VS racing billet s480 china doll which should be a better match for the 6.0 so some of the downpipe will need to be reworked. Plan is to get the car running and tuned then finish the rear suspension when the narrowed rear is done.

I had no idea. I think this is version 2.0 but I didn't know it when I ordered it. I agree, even if they didn't do anything i would want the surge holes just for looks.

We were able to save the wastegate location going from T4 up to T6.
She lines up nicely with the already mounted A2W intercooler.
The down pipe needs to be reworked a bit to accommodate the 4" tube.
The LJMS V Band clamps for the s480 fit the china doll perfectly.
Definitely plan to keep the boost activated cutout. Kept the car quiet as a church mouse cruising and all hell broke loose when the turbo spooled.
Hopefully engine will fire in the next week or two so she can move under her own power. Then it will be time for suspension and rear end.
Planning to use a surge tank for the fuel system so I can keep a stock gas tank but still waiting for it to show up.

Good news and bad news today. The good news is the fuel surge tank came in today.
Going to feed this from a stock tank with a drop in electric pump then dual pumps on a Hobbs from the surge tank to the fuel rails.
The bad news is the jack slipped when taking Sweet Pea off the jack stands which resulted in a minor but heart breaking set back.
The motor oil was even unused . Luckily, the hole came out as one piece so it should weld up fine.

I also ordered an eBay underdash AC kit with passenger side AC compressor mount. I'm hoping to have her ready for LSFest this year and couldn't imagine not having AC at Bowling Green in September.
