Default Truck manifold fitment need help asap!!!!

Hey guys I have a 98 trans am in which I have swapped out the stock heads for some 317 heads everything was going great on button up but now I have a bit of an issue I am trying to get the truck manifold in which I have flipped driver side to passenger side and vice versa to go in but I cant seem to clear them. Is the only way I can get them in is from the bottom??? I just want to get the headers in and check the heads go through a few heat cycles and then continue my build any help would be appreciated

If they won't go in from the top then yes from underneath is what you will have to do. On many aftermarket headers you must unbolt the motor mounts & raise the engine.

Yeah I should of read the sticky lol for me it hits the power steering pump and the alternator. I ordered a relocation bracket for the alternator. I will probably have to get rid of the AC or go with a turbo k member
