That's exactly what Im offering. You said my car should run X trap speed if it makes Y power. Well, my car has a T56 and a 4.1 ratio 7'inch ring and pinion. Come show me how its done with a free trans!

It is. Its useless really- stating x car making y power should run z time/trap without consider the many, many other factors that go into it is simply retarted.

Do you have a link? Any pics/specs on that turbine weel?

Bump for the excuses can't get "850whp" into the 9s

Or trap even 1 fiddy in a 3000lb ride

Fwiw I ran low 11s and low 1.5 60fts in my car with a NA 5speed and NA rear.... And 400hp rotary 10+ years ago and I literally race once a year lol

Bump that non faceplated t56 up with road race suspension

Just curious if it can't get down on the track..... Or the street..... What can it do? Ohhh the dyno

It's just funny I can get such a rise.

I seriously only ride this guy because he is posting everywhere about how much power he makes or things like the most powerful "stock ls1" and nothing breaks and it is awesome, but..... Never even gets close to backing that magic dyno number

All I had to do was make one bait statement and it was taken lol

These are the 72/68's I'd like to see one up next to a gt45.

I don't believe either option coltboostin posted would produce his HP goals to the wheels as others have said. I'd look for a larger unit(s).

Sorry SSmonte, should have knew. I think they would spool quicker than the GT45 Forcefed, don't you? If I go twins, I think I'll try them. I'd like to see some dyno results or track on them.

Yup should be less laggy for sure. I'd give it a go. I'm debating on the 72/68 vs the gt45 for a low boost single myself.

It doesn't matter to me either way. I made an offer for you to back up your statement, and cover your cost to do so.

Ball is in your court to back up your claims chief!

Until then, I'll just continue to enjoy your tug on my nuts.

I hate the 2.5 discharge, which suggests its based off an S cover, and that turbine inlet?? Looks like some old KKK BS. Maybe its the picture, but it looks like a divided T3 size wise which would be worry some for back pressure.

FWIW my single T4 S476 has a 2.5" discharge (s410) compressor housing. Seems to do just fine up around 950ish crank behind a 370. I can't see that holding back much. If the .68AR 76/65 ON3's are proven to 1000+ WHP I can't imagine the 72/68 with an .84AR T4 wouldn't perform as well as or better. (just a guess though)

Good to know. Do you run 2.5 to the intercooler, or expand to 3' after the compressor outlet?

Also do you understand what I am saying about the inlet of that flange? If the inlet is that small the volute in the turbine has to be small as well. Who knows what Charlie Chong was copying with that one!

I can’t really tell what size the inlet is form the pics. I don’t’ imagine they are any smaller than the 76/65’s with the .68 housing. Also that pic may be a “stock” photo of the t3 unit since they sell both. Talked to 2 people that have purchased these now and they both say they are the same dimensions as the 76/65 china units. If I order one here I’ll break out the caliper and get measurements. I’m all for the gt45 price wise, but I’m looking for something with a smaller foot print with tiny power goals. (under 500 on an LS1) The 72/68 seems to be the best option price wise over the gt45 for a smaller unit.

Agree. And it will save you a good 30 lbs your manifold wont have to support.
