The pro-flo gained 58hp over stock in the NA intake test but I've seen boosted dynos gaining much more.
Since pressure is just a measure of resistance to flow, a better flowing path may decrease pressure slightly but raise flow, increasing power.

It's all hypothetical until someone tries a stock one and the chops up another one and does back to back tests.

The plenum around the stack kind of negates the benefits of a velocity stack.

I think it would make more power if you cut the stacks off on the inside of the plenum.
You better look into intake manifold design some more

Really the only thing "not good" on these is the lack of plenum volume

The manifold does as its design dictates.

Here is bolt on ls3. Back to back ls3 intake vs this intake (near clone/minimal plenum differences)

It looses down low and gains up top just as you would and should expect

Do you think velocity in the plenum is your friend?? The entire point of a large plenum is to reduce velocity

Look at this marcella Intake, guess here the TB is in relation to those runners in the way...

Any side by side graphs to show where the losses etc were made ? Was it a back to back test, no other changes ?

Good on you OP for taking a chance! I know I caught a lot of crap when I bought a Holley Mid-Rise intake instead of the High-Ram to install in our TBSS because I didn't want to jack-up the cowl. And you know what? It fit great and works fine.

interesting, I'm how the powerband looks when boosted. I currently like the low end torque stock intakes give. the boost will fix the top end drop offs

You know what kinda power it made on 22? On what turbo?

I've seen this intake go 151MPH on ~15-16psi on an S476 in a 3600lb car with conservative timing. Doesn't seem like intake is starving anything for air.

Anyone have an idea of how this intake might stack up against a ls6 intake on a na stroker motor? Seems all the test are with boost

If you turn over 7k, then the Sniper will probably see some benefits.
