Default Head gasket for high boost

I have a lq4 iron block with k445x05 wiesco forged pistons , and I am using LSA heads and ARP 2000 head studs . What head gasket would u recommend for 20psi . Say 1k HP ! I am using a Novi 2200 SL supercharger if this helps

I second that ls9's and forget about it. as good as any gasket you can buy .

What other issues do u think I will have before the head gaskets? Forged pistons and rods . Shood be bomb proof.

You'll lift a head or take out main bearings from main cap twist

You can datalog coolant pressure to see when the head lifts. I'm going to do this next year

I am running 5 layer ls3 gaskets in my 408 lq4 at 21psi with eBay head studs.

Been using LS9's like so many others. They work really well for so many and are probably the best choice within reason. I am contemplating trying the ones TSP sells since my heads are off now, but cant seem to justify the cost since the LS9's have worked well.

I have never seen those...pretty sweet. I feel like unless your running an LSX platform, you have other issues before the gasket. Maybe with the aged ARP head studs that are like $650 and these gaskets and good ARP main studs in a 5.3 iron block, you could run huge boost and break the factory block (not shortblock, I said block) record before having to go LSX.

I have to disagree. Seen may guys lift heads before having any other issues.

So , the info I have said .051 head gasket on a 4.005 bore , I will be 9.7 to 1 if I would change the thickness of the gasket how much will it change the CR
