I think a 15x10 with the Mickey 275/60r15 Pro would be the ticket. I like the way this wheel and tire size looks as well

Pm me your credit card number, and I'll get right on that. Jokes aside.....I wish I could swing that.

A stock set of 16 inch wheels will work and you can get a 295/50/16 mickey Thompson drag radial on it. Everything looks stock until you get up close and realize the huge tire. I'm selling my setup on the cheap lol

Ok, wheels are 5 spoke silver firebird wheels that look a hell of a lot better than snowflakes. Front tires are 215/60/16 Falken tires with MAYBE 1000 miles on them and the rears are 295/50/15 MT drag radials with probably 3/4 of the tread left. $400 for everything plus actual shipping. The rear tires alone are like 250 each normally.

Saw it this morning when I already got to work. Once I get home I'll snap some photos and upload.

Here's some pics. This setup cut 1.5x sixty foots in a 3800lb 6 speed turbo car with 600hp. No patches or plugs in the tires.

275/60-15 ET pro or the new ET-R. You need a serious tire to launch on a tbrake dont even waste your time with a 17 drag radial you will be disappointed and whatever you buy make sure they are atleast a 28" tall tire. The width of the tire doesn't mean a whole lot there are guys going unreal fast on 235s.

The fast guys on the 235s have awesome power management syems/skills and suspensions to lay down the numbers they do. IMO you have to compare apples to apples. Too often you hear "those tires suck" or "the track's garbage" when no one else is having problems. Is it the tire or is the car not set up properly? "My car won't hook on a 235!" It might if it was setup for it. Props to the guys doing it on the shorter tires. IMO a tire with more sidewall and some good shocks would go a long way and avoid some aggravation. I see the point of a car looking a certain way, but it can makes it difficult to get it to perform. My vote, good shocks/struts and a tall (28") rear tire, but that's just me. Good luck with whatever you choose. Hope it works out for you.
