cleaning induction part of turbo kit
There's a little oil in each pipe. I'm going to start cleaning it up a litttle.
What do you guys use to clean the intercooler and other pipeing
I noticed there is a lot of oil pooled in the short rubber tubes(don't know the name for them) that are used to connect and seal the pipeing. There are some hints that oil went past the seals and into the compressor.
I was thinking aluminum cleaner would work.

Re: cleaning induction part of turbo kit
Some of the stuff isn't worth cleaning. But if oil gets in the intercooler, won't it hurt heat transfer?
I know there shouldn't be oil in there, and it looks alright but if the rest of the tubes have oil in them I know there must be some oil in the intercooler. I bought this kit used.
