What heads and cam on a Z06 with a blower I just bought a A&A P1SC kit for my 02 Z06. The car has AFR(59cc) heads and Cartek 2X cam which I'm pulling off and installing my stock LS6 heads and LS6 cam. This combo of a P1SC and 02 and up Z06's with headers typically makes around 600 rhwp at around 9 lbs of boost. Now my question is if i'm going to pull the heads should I maybe get a set of the LQ9 72cc heads and a more blower friendly cam? So what i'm asking is should I lower the compression and run more boost or keep the compression and run less boost? I know the limitation is around 550-600 rwhp but I was wondering if a combination of lower compression-slightly more boost and mild blower cam would still get me 550-600 rwhp but more power under the curve? what do you guys think and what cam would you suggest? Thanks!

You wont have a problem making 550+ rwhp with either heads/cam setup. You can probably get some good money for those AFR heads to apply to the blower purchase. The stock LS6 heads and cam are fine for a blower car - especially one with a stock bottom-end.

There is a Cartek M call for sale in the parts for sale section. It's a 218/224 .563/.568 on a 114. Since i have to change cams anyway I figured I would get that-it's got to a be a bit better than the LS6 cam? What do you think?
