Default why the LQ9 heads for twin turbos kits?

Hi im looking to buy the gmr twim kit and have pretty much my whoel set up except for the heads. I have seen everyone with twim turbos run ported lq9 heads. i was jsut wondering why this is and not jsut a set of ls6 heads. is it because it cheaper or have something to do with the compression ratio. If those are the best for the twins then thats waht ill get. i was just wondering thanx alot.

The LQ9 heads have bigger cc so people run then to get a lower compression ratio.

well im not a TWIN turbo, but ya, they have a bigger cumbustion chamber, have ls6 style ports and are cheaper (then ls6 heads)
so they are ideal for a low cost head for FI applications.
