Default Procharger

Ok heres the deal, I could buy a procharger now with the stock tranny and rear. mBut my dillema is about my tranny, Im going to be on the stock tranny for a few months, and nothing is done to my tranny except for it was rebuilt 3000 miles ago and upgraded for about 400hp. My rear im not worried about right now because I dont beat on it. I could put the procharger on and get it tuned. The only time in the few months span that im on stock tranny and rear i will not step on the car anytime. The only time is when its on the dyno to get tuned! So Do you think I could go a few months driving around town and the occasional highway drive on the stock tranny? Or will i experience problems with just everyday driving?

If you never boost, all will be well. I wouldn't have that kind of self control.

How will you tune it without boosting, though?

Maybe enough time to blow up the tranny! Or rearend. Or both. Maybe not. Do you wanna roll those dice?

If you are not going to step on it and get into boost (thats going to happen), then why put the sc on?

You won't have any problems with the tranny as long as you're not launching it hard at the track with sticky tires. Bob

I ran my stock tranny for a year with no problems. I just had a TCI kit put in it and a stall but wasn't having any problems. The only thing done to my rearend is gears and a girdle. I'm running MT's now, I figure if (when) the rearend breaks it's time to upgrade.
