ls1 with supercharger..needs tuner help

ls1 with supercharger..needs tuner help i have a 98 ls1 trans am with a vortech supercharger that i bought from ebay...the tuner that came with it was for a 99-00 so it will not work on my car.i was told i cant put it on a dyno to tune it with out a programer? any help? what do i do to tune it? that i can do for like under $500? i went to superchip thats the kind that came with it but they didnt have anything for a 98 on the web page?????
