Installed a FMIC yesterday. All I can say is that was a LOT of cutting things that probably should not be cut (bumper included) Anyhow, it DEFINETLY makes the intake temps cooler. I can touch the intake pipe going into the throttle body after driving the car now and not get burned. Thanks to Billy at TRT for sending the pics (and the kit). Made install much faster.

BTW.....of course now I'm not making full "boost" with the STS referencing the wastegate off the back of the turbine. How should I re-reference my boost to the wastegate? Run a line from the front of the car. Even better, I have an electronic boost controller (the STS one) and NO instructions. If someone can provide pics or at least clear instructions that would be a bonus.

Just finished running the wastegate reference line from the intake. It runs great at 5PSI. Intake pipes nice and cool. It doesn't feel any faster....but the speedometer says it's hauling a$$. Might get brave soon and install a 7lb spring and see how that feels.
