Default blue smoke at startup?

well i found a plug at a local machine shop. 49 cents mind you. but anyways got everything on, and started it up. 60 psi oil pressure, but had some blue smoke on startup, is this normal. its still up on stands but i would think that would help the oil drain from the turbo. will it do this until the rings seat or what? is this normal?

Last couple of motors I have built had a little blue some on initial start up. It cleared up after they had run a little bit. I would not worry much unless it is excessive.

not excessive. car drives great and idles better than it did with the stock cam. have a few little things to take care of. my oil feed line leaks now but from the way the fitting looked im suprised its just a little bit. whatever clutch i have is great. i bought just a disk off of a member, said it was a spec 5i. i rused my pressure plate and fly wheel, no resurfacing. and it has NO chatter at all. just wonder if it will hold. we will see. i will keep you guys updated
